CH. Cavan Creek Dopper Perry(Kon), is the First Boerboel in Canada to earn the title Champion in the conformation show ring. He has also earned Reserve Best In Show, multiple group wins and multiple Best Of Breed(see his show points here) which we feel also highlights his calm assured temperament as he spends months on the farm doing the job he is bred for but with Canadian wildlife and weather conditions (BoerBoel Standard). He handles the loud hectic atmosphere of shows, often held in conjunction with fairs, outdoor sporting shows etc as the crowds are huge, we are literally on display with a lot of requests for patting(mostly from children) which he happily complies with. While his show credentials are impressive they are not reason he was chosen for our breeding program. He was chosen because of his vigorous health and his great temperament(loyal, steady, protective but not viscous) and a willingness to tackle any task presented for him from playing with our grandchildren to personal protection and routine life in a rural country setting.
